UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside seeks a Software Engineer, Senior to serve as part of UPMC Enterprises in close collaboration with members of UPMC management, Junior Software Engineers, and third-party partners to define and lead the development of new software and contribute to the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for various applications and projects. Design, integrate, secure, document and maintain several application development cycles and mentoring junior software engineers. Utilize interface technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Typescript to validate and review secure processes and protocols, integrate the overall system design, define project-specific software development efforts, develop and review operating code, as well as implement software solutions based on customer requirements, UPMC Enterprises’ architecture standards, and defined project designs. Develop and enhance technical solutions to meet UPMC business and customer requirements. Create application technology structure and suggest defining interface requirements that are necessary for new technology solutions. Design, develop, and implement project designs. Review new code before it is implemented into existing applications and software. Perform regression testing, user acceptance testing, and functional testing to assess performance standards of application systems in order to identify any potential errors during development and ensure that applications perform as intended before implementing the technology.

　　· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field

　　· Five (5) years of progressive software development, application programming, or related experience, including one (1) year of experience:

　　o working in multiple phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);

　　o working in complex development environments;

　　o developing on cross-functional systems; developing complete systems;

　　o creating WebForms using C#; designing WebForms by implementing CSS, HTML, and JavaScript;

　　o designing and developing user interface using ASP.NET, VB.NET, HTML, and JavaScript;

　　o creating tables, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions in SQL server using T-SQL commands;

　　o utilizing .NET Framework, C# .NET, SQL, WebForms, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, LINQ, Angular, MVC, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SSRS, SSIS, SSMS, and Visual Studio.
