　　Responsibilities:

　　Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features

　　Modify existing c++ and java software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance

　　Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments

　　Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components

　　Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces

　　Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards

　　Write or review software and system documentation

　　Coordinate software system installation at customer sites

　　Peer review teammates code

　　Must-haves:

　　Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience

　　Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools

　　Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

　　Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams

　　Understanding of C++ and Java

　　Preferred:

　　Qt

　　Interprocess communication (TCP/UDP/Multicast)

　　Linux / RHEL development environment

　　Linux scripting

　　Make

　　Git

　　Estimated Starting Salary Range: $91,154.71 - $125,337.72. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
