  Job Description

  Manages a team that designs, develops, solves problems, and debugs software programs for Cross Domain Solutions.

  What You'll Do

  Service Accountability – Lead a team whose mission is to build a SaaS service that is highly performant, scalable, and reliable.

  Ownership Scope – Lead the performance of the service as well as the roadmap to resolve key features required by our customers and partner teams.

  Operations Engineering – Understand and be able to communicate the scale, capacity, security, performance attributes, and requirements of the service(s) you own, We are domain authorities, able to understand and communicate every characteristic of our service stack, such as:

  degradation and behavior under load of the services and their dependencies

  Instrumentation and metrics that clearly describe the service behaviors

  scaling requirements and patterns

  resiliency and recoverability, ensuring that backup/restore and disaster recovery capabilities are implemented, tested, and maintained

  Automation – You'll have a clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles, and will be eager to help automate, wherever and whenever the possibility arises, while simultaneously eliminating technical debt.

  Incidence Management - You will own and respond to customer incidents within the agreed-upon SLAs.

  Technical Specialists - You will have a deep understanding of service topology and the dependencies required to solve issues and define mitigations. You will bring this expertise to bear in driving reliability improvements in the services you engage with.

  Cross-team partnership – You will engage with and present to a wide variety of audiences, ranging from individual contributors and teams to senior leadership

  Required Qualifications

  US Citizenship and possess and maintain active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

  Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science or related technical field.

  Demonstrated ability leading a team of software engineers.

  Previous experience with GOTS/COTS CDS technologies on the NCDSMO-approved products list.

  Hands-on ability to Architect, design, and coordinate development & implementation of features

  Service KPI metrics, alarms, logging, and system health

  Unit test, Feature test, and system test planning, execution, and automation.

  Resolving customer issues and handling partner concerns.

  Experience deploying code within a detailed approach.

  Experience working in an operational environment with critically important tier-two services with associated on-call responsibilities.

  Experience with mentoring and growing engineers.

  Experience in Identity, Networking, Security related technologies is a plus

  Preferred Qualifications

  Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle)

  Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules

  Expertise in applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques to develop security solutions

  Experience and understanding of Cryptograph, DDoS, CVE, CIS, SAST, DAST, or similar security and compliance knowledge

  Responsibilities

  As the CDS Manager you are responsible for the enterprise design and systems security throughout the development lifecycle; translates technology and environmental conditions (e.g., law and regulation) into security designs and processes. Responsibilities include;

  · SME across all aspects of CDS design to include: Data Owner Guides, rule sets, dataflow, and filter development.

  · implements NCDSMO (National Cross Domain Strategy & Management Office) information assurance/cybersecurity requirements to meet Raise-the-Bar

  · Demonstrated experience working hands-on in Linux-based environments, resolving on-site technical issues, and using and configuring the CDS solutions to deliver critical customer driver requirements.

  · Knowledge of GOTS and COTS CDS technologies on the NCDSMO-approved products list.

  Hiring Range: from $112,300 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

  Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

  Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  11 paid holidays

  Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
