　　Key job responsibilities

　　As a Software Development Engineer in Test on this team, you will be leading test automation and infrastructure development, testing new and architectural choices which have a significant impact on our systems, our business, and most importantly, our customers. You will be working directly with Developers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers to ensure quality development and quality of our applications and platforms. We are working with exciting new technologies and solving complex platform automation problems. If you are creative, customer-focused, passionate about QA and test automation, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this team is right for you.

　　Seattle, WA, USA

　　Basic Qualifications

　　1+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience

　　1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience

　　Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

　　Demonstrated knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous deployment, and test suite development and maintenance.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment

　　Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services

　　Understand software internals, debug code, automate repetitive tasks, and implement new tools and frameworks

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
