Collaborate with analysts, programmersand designers in conceptualizing and development of new and existingsoftware programs and applications. Define, develop, and documentsoftware business requirements, objectives, deliverables, andspecifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration withinternal users and departments. Design, develop, document, and implementnew applications and application enhancements according to business andtechnical requirements. Assist in defining software development projectplans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation. Consistentlywrite, translate, and code software programs and applications accordingto specifications. Write new and modify existing programming scripts toenhance functionality and/or performance of company applications asnecessary. Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, andsoftware engineers to assist in resolving problems with softwareproducts or company software systems. Design, run and monitor softwareperformance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes ofcorrecting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and generaldebugging.
