Description

We have a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Stack Software Developer with one of our clients. This role involves working predominantly on Angular/Java focused programming to support and improve systems and software. The successful candidate will be involved in multiple projects and will need to have both front and back end experience.

This role will eventually be a hybrid on-site work schedule so local candidates only, please.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software using Java and Angular.

• Collaborate with the team to design and implement software solutions.

• Ensure the functionality of the software aligns with user needs and business objectives.

• Maintain and improve existing software systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the day-to-day running of software systems.

• Collaborate with team members working in a paired programming environment to determine best practices and client requirements for software

• Utilize security tools to ensure the safety and integrity of software systems.

• Handle both front end and back end tasks as required by project needs.

• Continually update technical knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer

• Proficient in Java and Angular programming languages

• Experience with SQL and Spring Boot

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven ability to work independently and in team settings

• Strong knowledge of financial systems and processes

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
