This position will be responsible for workflow design, softwaredevelopment, configuration, customization, implementation, and postimplementation support of implemented tools which currently includesupporting solutions involving custom media players, web technologies,databases, student information systems, learning management systems, anddata integrations. The position is responsible for full stackdevelopment, performing a wide range of software lifecycle tasksincluding design, coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, anduser support. In addition, the candidate is able to adjust and changequickly in a fast-paced environment where the culture focuses on serviceto students. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop applications,configure existing applications, and develop integrations among new andexisting internally developed and purchased applications Serve as amember of various cross-functional teams to explore and recommendimprovements to existing systems and technologies Communicate andcollaborate with stakeholders, team members, and leadership in varioussettings including small groups, 1:1, and large group meetings Performanalysis to ensure business functionality, data security, applicationdesign, and optimal performance requirements are satisfied Collaboratewith project teams to estimate work effort and/or time requirements tocomplete development of specific requirements Create complex reports,interfaces, enhancing applications and performing quality control of newapplications / processes Develop and execute software testing plans tosupport upgrades, migrations, or other changes to existing applicationsand infrastructure systems Adhere to, provide feedback on, andparticipate in continuous improvement of development standards,processes, and procedures Create and maintain documentation asappropriate for code, applications, and processes The office is locatedat 780 Regent St., Madison, WI.
