　　DESCRIPTION OF WORKYour primary responsibility as a Social Worker 2 is to deliver social work services to the residents of SWVC. You serve as coordinator for the Dementia Specialty Unit at SWVC. In this capacity, you assess, design, and implement appropriate behavioral and psychosocial interventions for our residents on a memory care unit. You are expected to fulfill duties using independent judgment along with general supervision.

　　Two years of experience as a Social Worker 1 or Forensic Social Worker 1 (commonwealth titles) (must have been employed in a commonwealth social worker job title on September 8, 2008, with continuous commonwealth employment);orTwo years of experience as a Social Worker 1 or a Forensic Social Worker 1 and a bachelor's degree in social work or social welfare;orTwo years of professional experience providing direct public or private social work services, and a bachelor's degree in social work or social welfare; orA master's degree in social work or social welfare.Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three (3) months of graduating with a qualifying degree.Special Requirement:This position requires an active license as a Social Worker or Clinical Social Worker issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.Other Requirements:You must meet the .
