Job Description
The Social Media Supervisor is responsible for the overall success of the ongoing paid social media campaign activations for a national automotive client. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about paid media, specifically social media, and has a proven track record of implementing successful paid social media tactics. This person must also be passionate about continuous improvement and learning as the landscape evolves. Prior supervisory or mentorship experience is preferred.
The Social Media Supervisor will work under DSplus - a Saatchi & Saatchi company. DSplus was created 10 years ago around the idea of a “Digital Salesperson” who leads a customer through the entire lifecycle of their automobile ownership journey.
This role will partner with our multi-cultural agency that focuses on the Hispanic-American market.
This position is hybrid and will require the employee to work from the office as needed.
Responsibilities :
Oversee the day-to-day activities and develop a team of 5 Social Media Strategists
Act as the primary contact to the media planning, operations, and analytics teams, as well as paid social platform and technology platform partners
Develop and advise on ongoing paid social media activation plans based on client RFPs
Work closely with all platform partners to ensure plans constantly push the envelope and include the latest and greatest ad tech and formats available for automotive
Manage all financials, including campaign spend, fees, and ensure all billing is properly actualized each month
Develop and manage campaign activation workflow and communication protocol between planning, operations, creative, and analytics teams
Deliver technically accurate media points of view for activation recommendations and campaign outcomes
Communicate key learnings to appropriate agency and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency of campaign deployment
Qualifications
5+ years of paid media experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience with paid social advertising and client management
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak Spanish and English fluently
Proficiency with Meta, Reddit, X, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat that includes a clear understanding of each platform’s core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network’s advertising capabilities
Proficiency with both Business Manager and Ad Manager dashboards for all core platforms, including ad placement, budget management, pixel creation, offline event sets, and advanced reporting
Experience handling large media budgets and developing insights based on campaign results
Experience with campaign tracking and efficiency tools utilizing tools like Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics, Asana, Google Workspace, Monday.com, etc.
Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writing
Excellent organization and time management; ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
Automotive experience is beneficial; major brand/large budget experience is required
An ideal candidate will be a self-starter with natural curiosity, comfortable in the unknown, and a strong communicator
