The Excellence in Anesthesiology at Chapel Hill Education Research ( TEACHER ) Lab (https://www.med.unc.edu/anesthesiology/research/teacher-lab/) is an integral part of the Department of Anesthesiology in the School of Medicine of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The mission of the Anesthesiology Education Lab is to promote educational scholarship, increase collaboration, build an educational scholarship pipeline, and support the development of innovative curricula in anesthesiology education. We continuously work to create a medical education community where researchers and educators have the opportunity to collaborate in their areas of interest and work on their individual projects with support from a phenomenal team of faculty and staff. Our scholarly culture is driven by our devotion to anesthesiology education.
The Anesthesiology Education lab is searching for a part-time research assistant/lab manager to join our team. This individual will work closely with team members in the lab to coordinate both research and educational activities. This individual will be active in all stages of the research process, including but not limited to project management, event planning and coordination of workshops and events, protocol development and submission, enrolling participants, and data collection and preliminary analysis. This individual will also assist with the maintenance of the lab page on the departmental website.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
