This job is an on-call status, and will only be needed in the event of inclement winter weather.

　　This position pays $50.00 per hour.

　　Job Description/Summary

　　Operating single axle, tandem axle, quad axle, and centipede style dump trucks with the responsibility to plow snow and spread salt/brine on roadways. Also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and service ability of assigned vehicles.

　　Job Requirements/Qualifications

　　Drug Test/Screening, Reference Checks, One year of commercial driving, in the past three years, must have dependable transportation and be able to drive to and from job sites, when needed. Must have a clean DMV report, must be willing to work day, night, or weekend shifts, and must submit a current medical card upon hire. Must be able to drive manual transmission trucks.

　　Curtis Contracting, Inc. has several Snow Plowing and Road Treatment contracts with VDOT in many Richmond and Hampton Roads locations. The On-Call Snow Plowing candidates will be entered on an On-Call list for mobilization during inclement weather only.
