　　This is a role wellsuited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.As an SLM Assay Application Service Consultant you will beresponsible for :

　　Representing the global service organizationon new assay development teams, as well as providing service lifecyclesupport for IMMULITE immunoassays and Syva drug testing assays in theSpecialty Lab Solutions business line.

　　Producing all relevant assay servicedeliverables to support a new assay launch or applications on a newinstrument launch.

　　Providing service functional expertise forassay design, service documentation, education content, assay trend codes,assay troubleshooting content, and the release of assay updates or newassays.

　　Advocate for IMMULITE and Syva fieldApplications personnel on new assay development teams, representing tasksperformed by Applications personnel in the field, such as clinicaleducation, method validation, go-live support, and assaytroubleshooting.

　　Communicating clinical utility of new assaysto service groups in headquarters, regions, and countries; responsible forfacilitating best practice sharing on IMMULITE and Syva assays across theservice organization.

　　Performing analysis of global service metrics andassay performance trends and presenting to service teams, product teams,and other business line teams. You will promote serviceability andclinical assay expertise across business level functions.

　　Leading Service Element Teams in defining the assayservice concept, application services strategy, and coordinating knowledgetransfer to other service groups in headquarters, regions and countries.

　　Other additional responsibilities may beassigned as needed.

　　Required skills to have for the success of thisrole

　　Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, MedicalTechnology, or comparable education.

　　Minimum of 5-8 years of Industry experience;including experience with IMMULITE and/or Syva systems and assays, orexperience with other immunoassay systems or drugs of abuse testingsystems.

　　Experience working in the clinical diagnosticslaboratory, and/or as an Applications specialist in the lab diagnosticsindustry.

　　Experience working with cross-functional teamsand demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

　　Skilled collaborator with stakeholders both withinand outside of the service organization, including Marketing, R&D,Supply Chain, or Quality.Ability todrive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.

　　Excellent presentation skills with the abilityto influence outcomes.

　　Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 20%,both within the USA and internationally.
