Company DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB DETAILSBase Pay: $24.50 - 31.50 per hourEmployment Benefits start on day 1DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLeads by example in performance of all job functions, including demonstration of safe work habits and adherence to established proceduresMonitor employees in the work area to ensure expectations are being metTroubleshoot problems as they arise and take prompt corrective or preventative actions to ensure consistent operation of equipment and flow of material within the departmentLead daily pre-shift activities including toolbox meetings, stretching exercises, review of safety/quality alerts, and conduct safety meetings as applicableCoordinate employee activities to ensure departmental productivity, quality, scrap, and safety goals are achievedAssist department supervision with incident investigations, employee evaluations, and coordination of activities between shifts and across departmentsImports shift logs and keeps daily records of attendance, delays, change over times, pounds runWrites work orders for improvements and line break downsQualificationsPrevious manufacturing and/or maintenance experience preferredMust be able to read, write and perform basic math skills as job duties requireMust possess common sense, positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendanceMust be quality and safety conscious, a team playerMust be able to work quickly with product and able to lift weight amount as indicated on job specific functional capacity evaluationMust have excellent manual dexterity and be able to concentrate for sustained periodsMust have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with peopleExtensive standing, frequent bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting and walkingRequired personal protective equipment, tugger, overhead crane, carts, dollies and some hand toolsSafe work performance is required from each Associate at all timesAdditionally, the proper discharge of safety responsibilities is an integral part of each Associate's performance appraisalAdditional InformationAddress: 2405 Campbell Rd Sidney, OH 45365Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
