Job Summary:
The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing supply, maintenance, and transportation activities at a designated site for the U.S. Army. This role involves coordinating logistics, ensuring the efficient flow of supplies and equipment, and maintaining the operational readiness of vehicles and machinery. The Site Supervisor will lead a team, enforce safety protocols, and collaborate with various stakeholders to meet operational objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:
Coordinates and manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
Ensures accurate inventory control and compliance with Army supply chain procedures.
Collaborates with procurement teams to optimize the procurement process.
Maintenance Oversight:
Supervises maintenance production control operations for US Army equipment located at Yakima Training Center.Transportation Logistics:
Manages transportation operations, including dispatching and vehicle accountability.
Ensures compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
Team Leadership:
Leads and motivates a team of supply, maintenance, and transportation personnel.
Provides guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance team capabilities.
Fosters a culture of accountability, discipline, and professionalism.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforces safety protocols and compliance with Army regulations.
Conducts regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensures all activities adhere to relevant environmental and safety standards.
Quality Assurance:
Implements and monitors quality control measures in supply and maintenance processes.
Collaborates with Quality Assurance Managers to uphold quality standards.
Conducts regular inspections to verify compliance with established procedures.
Communication and Coordination:
Communicates effectively with higher command, subordinates, and other units.
Collaborates with other site supervisors and departments to ensure seamless operations.
Provides timely and accurate reports on supply, maintenance, and transportation activities.
Emergency Response and Contingency Planning:
Develops and implements contingency plans for emergency situations.
Ensures the availability of resources and equipment for rapid response.
Coordinates with relevant authorities during emergencies.
Budget Management:
Ensures timekeeping is accordance with DCMA and company policies.
Manages work shifts and time off request to ensure proper manning for mission requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience in a leadership role within military logistics, supply, maintenance, or transportation.
Knowledge of U.S. Army supply chain procedures, maintenance practices, and transportation regulations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Familiarity with safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards.
Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).Pay and Benefits:
Salary Range: $78,000 – The salary offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, work experience, and their ability to meet the known requirements of the position as determined at the time of hire. Job location will also be a factor in determining the salary offered.
