This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. To support the vision we are building a platform that handles end-to-end lifecycle, from provisioning to upgrade to terminate; and provides a self-service cloud experience to the customer, we are looking for passionate engineers who are Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Data Management (Partitioning, Compression) AND Exadata authorities. We are looking for engineers who have current experience in cloud technologies or are interested in expanding their skills in the Cloud.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience shipping scalable, cloud native distributed systems.
Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree or equivalent experience (Information Technology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer Software/Electronics/Operational Research/Computer System Engineering).
Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-functional team environment.
Strong grasp of Computer Science concepts
Proficient in Python, Perl and/or Shell Scripting
You are experienced at building highly available services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols.
Experience with production operations and standard methodologies for putting quality code in production and solve issues when they arise
Able to optimally communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing (technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams and presentations)
Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services.
Skills: System Engineer with extensive experience in:
Oracle Database
Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM & RAC
Oracle Exadata
Oracle Cloud
Oracle Autonomous Database
Oracle Data Management (Partitioning, Compression)
Experience in:
Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture & Best Practices for Oracle Database & Exadata.
High availability & replication technologies (Data guard, Goldengate)
Sophisticated scripting/coding skills (Shell, Perl and Python)
Understanding of REST Architecture and JSON is a plus
Building and handling Linux OS systems with good understanding how the Linux kernel works (IO, Network, etc.) and ability to read and understand source code

As a Principal Cloud Database Architect, you will play a pivotal role in our Database Infrastructure team. This position is based in India and presents a great opportunity to chip in to the improvement of healthcare services within a dynamic multi-tenant cloud environment. As a Principal Cloud Database Architect, you will be instrumental in achieving our mission to enhance healthcare services. Your key responsibilities include:
Chip in to strategic projects outlined in our roadmap, focusing on transitioning on-premises databases to Oracle Cloud.
Lead efforts to migrate databases to the Autonomous Database, ensuring a flawless transition for optimal performance.
Implement advanced strategies like partitioning and sophisticated compression to enhance overall database efficiency.
Work collaboratively with multiple teams, actively participating in the execution of roadmap projects.
Apply your abilities and hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud and Data Management, including the implementation of Oracle partitioning and sophisticated compression.
Contribute to the growth of the team by mentoring new associates, and facilitating knowledge transfer and team development.
