Mozambique Site Lead - Palma

　　Alistair offers a logistics solution and rents equipment to clients in Northern Mozambique, we have been well placed to win business in the region allowing us to grow. Our fleet includes 11 cranes, telehandlers, forklifts etc. We do not, however, have a strong person able to liaise daily with our client and manage our operations team there. That is where you come in. 

　　Overview of the Role:

　　This is a site lead role, which naturally combines operations and commercial elements, however the beginning will require a strong customer focus to cement existing contracts and bring in new business.

　　You would win as much business as possible in the region from our existing clients & from any potential clients

　　You would be the ‘go-between’ between operations & commercial teams within the business

　　You would be the leadership team’s ‘eyes and ears’ on the ground in Northern Mozambique

　　You will ensure all operations are conducted safely and to the client’s satisfaction

　　You will need to understand the market and how we can better improve our service

　　You will structure and establish Alistair Group’s facility in the DUAT of Afungi

　　You would need to use your experience and knowledge to create competitive pricing models & strategies, positioning Alistair Group as a market leader in the region

　　Required Experience

　　Lifting / Equipment Rental / Material Handling experience

　　Project Management experience advantageous

　　Terminal / port operations experience advantageous

　　Exposure to Sales and Commercial functions

　　Rigging / LOLER / NEBOSCH competent

　　Experience in the Oil & Gas industry advantageous

　　The role is remote and based on a rotational basis, however with flexibility on the rotation periods based on the operational needs of the business and personal needs of the candidate
