Create safety awareness, participation, and recognition programs for all employeesManagement of the site Safety records to include employee training, incident reports / countermeasures, OSHA 300 logs, OSHA records, and Workers Compensation cases / records.Communication and participation with the customer including incident reporting, safety program updates, and site wide safety initiatives.Interfacing with C&W Services staff and hourly personnel to ensure Safety program expectations are met. Ensures all team members are compliant with company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.Responsible for Safety team members performance and individual development plans.Provide training and information to supervisors & employees on safety issues.Analyze data and prepare reports for Health and Safety Metrics to include Site Scorecard, Observations, & Behaviors. Use the data to provide information for Leading & Lagging Indicator Reports.Administer new hire orientation, OSHA 10-hour, weekly safety training/meetings, classroom & field equipment training.Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers health and safetyDevelops occupational health and safety systems; including policies, procedures, and manuals.Responsibilities also include documenting safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining/availability of safety equipment supplies.Manage to completion all minor or major incidents that occur; investigate unsafe working conditions, study possible causes, and make recommendations. Based on findings ensure follow-up actions are taken to prevent re-occurrences that are addressed through the "Root Cause Analysis" method.Participate in RCA/ incident reviews with customers.Compile and submit incident reports required by regulatory agencies and cooperate in the preparation of material and evidence for organizational use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.Must have a detailed knowledge of the following topics: industrial mechanical applications / machinery, industrial insulation applications, scaffold building, general buildings / grounds maintenance, and janitorial processes.Must maintain a consistent and good attendance record in accordance with Company policyReport to regional management and account manager on the status of occupational health and safety programs.Oversee the site mentoring program.Able to travel & support other sites.Able to be part of the on-call rotation for sa
