This includes the application of temporal and spatialthinking in interpreting SIGINT data in geographic context. Such interpretationrequires skills, knowledge, and abilities drawn from multiple disciplines toundertake spatial data manipulation, spatial data analysis, spatial statisticalanalysis, and spatial modeling. Beyond the core competencies required for allintelligence analysts, full performance requires fundamental knowledge ofgeospatial SIGINT data, analytical methods, and visualization, in addition toknowledge of target technologies. SGAs use a variety of specialized tools forspatial analysis. They maintain or support reference knowledge databases andcollaborate with other analysts to disseminate spatial intelligence.Required Skills/Qualifications:SGA Level 16 years of relevant experience, or 4 years ofexperience with an Associate's degree, or 4 years of experience with aBachelor's degree.Degree in geospatial information systems,geography, or a related field is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable.Relevant experience must be in an area directedlyrelated to an IC of DoD mission (e.g., collections, cyber, andintelligence analysis) and/or drafting/editing intelligence reports. Atleast some of that experience being geospatial analysis is preferred.SGA Level 29 years of relevant experience, or 7 years ofexperience with an Associate's degree, or 5 years of experience with aBachelor's degree, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degreeDegree in geospatial information systems,geography, or a related field is preferred, but a degree in any field isacceptable.Relevant experience must be in an area directedlyrelated to an IC of DoD mission (e.g., collections, cyber, andintelligence analysis) and/or drafting/editing intelligence reports.
