Shipping/Receiving Specialist (2nd Shift)

　　General Summary: Under minimal supervision performs a variety of tasks in the materials department regarding shipping of inbound and outbound freight.

　　Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

　　Coordinates logistics for inbound and outbound freight.

　　Prepares Bills of Lading and other paperwork required for shipping and preparing reports.

　　Ensures material is classified correctly and legally per DOT compliance.

　　Ship according to schedule

　　Audit shipments

　　Complete SAP transactions

　　Complete paperwork, prepare reports.

　　Utilizes a variety of forklift equipment to move material located in the warehouse, including loading, and unloading of material from warehouse racks.

　　Loads trucks for shipment and off-loads trucks.

　　May assist in the reconciliation of warehouse transactions, identification/tracking of material, inventory counts as well as other miscellaneous activities related to the warehousing process.

　　Abilities:

　　Must be able to become forklift certified. Computer knowledge using Word, Excel, etc

　　Education:

　　High School Diploma or GED required. Certification in 49CFR, IATA required.

　　Experience:

　　1-2 years manufacturing or materials related experience required.

　　Physical Requirements:

　　Moderate speed with accuracy half of the day.

　　Light exertion for lifting/moving average weight materials (up to 50 lbs. or less)

　　NOTE: Training might require candidate to work on a split shift.
