ONSITE ROLE
Shift: 8:30am to 5pm
Role: Logistic Specialist
Onsite: All shifts
Days a week: 5
Hours a week: 40 (plus some occasional OT on the weekend)
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with organizing BOLs and helping outside drivers with paperwork.
Assist with all documentation and administration of outbound shipments using multiple software tools including Microsoft Excel, SAP, and PINC.
SAP assistance – such as systemically moving trailers in ICP doors.
Maintain and develop positive business relationships with key personnel involved in or directly relevant to logistics activity.
Assist internal logistics team and TM department in working with transport providers to maintain trailer pool and develop best shipment practices.
Assist Customer Service with expedited shipments.
Utilize methods and procedures that facilitate achievement of department financial goals.
Assist Inventory team with cycle counts, PI, and SAP EWM, when needed.
Other related duties as assigned by management.

Has in depth knowledge of the discipline and role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in the Transportation Industry.
Strong quality and customer satisfaction orientation.
Previous experience using ERP software, ideally SAP
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.
Team oriented perspective; able to work well & contribute with other points of view .
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work in self-directed manner to identify needs of the organization and/or customer.
Strong analytical skills
Superior organizational, follow-up and follow-through skills.
