  This job will oversee all aspects of the shipping and receiving operations at the Modesto Carnation Evaporated Milk factory.

  Employees shall follow all the plant safety and quality rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately and maintain compliance with regulations.

  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following represent some of the essential functions of this position. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or other members of management.

  Provide work assignments to labeling, packaging and shipping and receiving operators on the day-to-day operations.

  Manage truck bay trailer assignments for loading and unloading.

  Must be able to work any shift, drive a forklift, lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds and climb up and down ladders.

  Coordinate the labeling, casing, palletizing, loading and shipping of products and verifying accuracy of production and shipments and incoming goods.

  Launch daily orders and update production planning board in S&R.

  Ship loads out in SAP.

  Assist in trouble shooting problem areas and major equipment malfunctions.

  Provide accountability for all goods manufactured and incoming material receipt.

  Coordinate with M&ET operations for railcar movements and shipments.

  Monitor hour code changes and provide QA throughout packaging process.

  Lead by example as it relates to Safety, GMP, housekeeping and Plant Conduct Rules.

  Ability to get along with fellow associates and management on a professional and respectful manner.

  Assist operators when necessary

  *Must have a basic understanding of computers in order to operate equipment and to perform SAP transactions

  General Expectations: Employee must come to work promptly and regularly, work under the supervision of others, at times under stressful conditions, work within deadlines, and be able to work professionally with others at all times and in all situations.

  The approximate hourly pay for this position is $23.44 to $23.84. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the positon at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
