Day 1 benefits includingmedical, dental, vision. 6% companycontribution to 401K with immediate vesting In this full time ShippingCoordinator role, you are responsible for safe and accurate inventoryand material movement within the Shipping Department. Learn more aboutthis position! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Coordinate picking, checking,packing, and shipping functions. Assist with setting pick priorities andrush orders. Trace customer shipping issues using Parcel Manifestsystem. Work with carrier personnel on shipment documentation and pickup requirements using carrier bill of lading and manifest requirements.Train new personnel on Shipping Lines and Parcel Manifesting Systemincluding standard operating procedures and use of powered industrialequipment, conveying and shipment processing equipment. Assist CrewLeader in monitoring the proficiency of each team member within theShipping department. Coordinate Shipping supply stocks and reorderinventories with the Purchasing Department. Manage the movement andrestock of cardboard at the packing stations. Responsible for companyasset control involving materials movement and materials handlingequipment. REQUIREMENTS: General knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations. Average math skills and effective reading &writing skills. Problem solving ability and attention to detail andaccuracy.
