In this role youwill be responsible for preparing order for freight, express, or parcelpost shipments in accordance with shipping practices and requirements.You will work to ship a variety of products that range in size from asmall pin-size part up to a 240\" long. What\'s in the job: Assemble andcheck order, do packing and crating, attach or stencil shippinginstructions. Build wooden shipping crates, load, and block contents.Prepare required forms and generate shipping paperwork from shippingsoftware. Load and unload trucks with forklift and/or overhead crane.What does it take: High School Diploma or GED required. One to threeyears of related experience Ability to add, subtract, multiply, anddivide, and to perform these operations using units of money, weightmeasurement, volume, and distance. Physical Requirements: Regularlyrequired to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reachwith hands and arms and talk or hear. Must regularly lift or move up to25 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
