$19.50 / HR | Lugoff, SC

Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail,and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of materials and products.

Verify quantities and quality of items received against packing slips and purchase orders.

Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.

Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using computerized systems.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors regarding shipment status and discrepancies.

Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting and stock replenishment.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements for shipping and receiving operations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in shipping and receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.

Familiary with shipping and receiving software and systems (e.g., UPS, FedEx, ERP Systems).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic math skills for inventory management and record-keeping.

Work Environment:

Large facility.
