Position Summary
The Microsoft 365 instructor is entrusted with delivering a top-tier educational experience for learners who are eager to enhance their skills and knowledge in Microsoft 365 applications. Key duties encompass the regular updating of the curriculum, creation of dynamic courses, and provision of student support, both in group settings and one-on-one. Candidates must hold an Associate's degree and demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 or similar software applications. Demonstrated communication and presentation skills are essential. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or higher, teaching certifications or relevant educational training, certification in Microsoft 365 applications, and experience teaching Microsoft 365 or similar software applications to adult learners will be given preference.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
Adjunct Professor is typically assigned as needed on a quarterly basis, with no expectation of continued employment beyond the current appointment.
Compensation is $40.41 - $80.00 per hour. Individuals newly hired to Adjunct Professor group at the college are placed at the minimum rate per union bargaining agreement. Certain positions may also be eligible for assignment/project-based additional compensation, including a High Demand Stipend up to $8,350 annually, prorated based on the discipline and duration of the assignment. All additional compensations are subject to change depending on funding and negotiated agreement.

In addition to teaching, faculty maintains office hours and may participate in department and college activities. This position is represented by the Bellevue College Association of Higher Education (BCAHE) union.
