Basic Function:To safely and correctly ship product to customer as well as manage finished goods flow and maintain shipping market.Responsibilities:* Keep safety as a primary focus by working safely, following safety policies and work instructions, asking for help, promptly reporting safety concerns, and utilizing the Stop & Seek program, as required.* Manage finished goods material flow between assembly and shipping, including stock transactions.* Pick components accurately (model and quantity) to fill packing list.* Accurately follow all Kan Ban procedures to ensure timely replacement of finished goods and gauges.* Pack product in both individual boxes and skids for shipments to customers.* Process shipments through the computer using Precision shipping software.* Communicate with customer service on order/shipment status.* Contact local freight companies (i.e. UPS, FedEx, Airborne, etc.) for special pickup arrangements when needed.* Cycle counting of Finished and Component Goods inventory.* Follow all OSHA compliance regulations.* Promote and practice 5S + Safety approach by keeping work area neat, clean, and organized, and following safety and housekeeping rules.* Positively support change initiatives by actively contributing to and participating in lean principles and Kaizen events.* Positively and actively contribute to High Performance Teams (HPTs) by participating in team improvement boards (TIB) reviews, problem solving and task completion.* Be a respectful team player and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members and supervision.* Perform other duties as responsibilities necessitate.Requirements:* High School diploma or equivalent* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.* Good communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to adapt to changing roles and changing priorities.Physical Requirements:* Frequently will lift up to 40 pounds, stand, walk, reach, pull, push, bend, kneel, grasp, and handle.* Occasionally will twist.Working Conditions:* A moderately loud environment with potentially expose to or use of dirt and moving equipment.
