JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Communicates andreinforces Festival culture, customer service, and performanceexpectations to store associates. Documents violations of companypolicies/procedures by associates and conducts progressive disciplinaryactions with associates when necessary Answers questions and providesguidance to guests and associates Ensures all department standards arebeing met in the store during assigned shift. Observes sales floor andback stock conditions; takes action to correct areas of opportunityCommunicates and works cooperatively with Store Director, DepartmentManagers, and associates to maintain standards and exceed guestexpectations Oversees sanitation within the store during assigned shift.Provides customer service to guests. Assists guests with finding itemsthey are looking for throughout the store Addresses guest concerns andresolves issues when a guest is not satisfied with the service orproduct received Assists all department associates with dailyresponsibilities. Responsible for quality control during assigned shift.Helps ensure product safety and freshness. Must make sure customersreceive the products and services they order. The Shift Manager I isresponsible for reporting any issues or quality defects to theDepartment Managers. The Shift Manager I must make sure the workplace issafe and clean during assigned shift. This includes reviewing andenforcing all Occupational Safety standards and policies. The ShiftManager I is responsible for completing and filing all incident reportsand accident reports and reporting all violations. Other duties asassigned. Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the workschedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasionalabsences. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physicaldemands and work environment described below are representative of thosethat must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essentialfunctions of this job. Requires the ability to performrepetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time. Must possess functionalsensory abilities in order to visually monitor the store, createattractive displays, and to operate equipment. The position requires theassociate to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. WORK SCHEDULE TheShift Manager I is a part-time or full-time hourly position.
