The Environmental Services Shift Leader assures facility maintains a clean, safe and healthy environment.Assist Environmental Service Director as needed and be able to delegate assignments to the Environmental Services staff in a diplomatic manner. Self-starter that displays initiative and positivity.

　　Responsible for general housekeeping duties in accordance with policies and procedures.Responsible to fill-in Laundry Departmentas needed.Performs duties to ensure the cleanliness of offices, public areas, restrooms, stairwells, elevators and corridors and resident rooms.Receives all incoming freight orders and delivers orders to appropriate storage areas.Assists in seasonal cleaning projects.Attends to any reasonable request from the Director of Environmental ServicesPerforms duties as needed in the event of a call-out when no replacement is available.Qualifications:

　　Previous supervisory/nursing home experience a plus.Self-starter that displays initiative and positivity.Demonstrates cooperation and teamwork with peers and other departments.Engages in positive customer service interaction with residents, families and visitors.Takes ownership of an error in delivery of service and works to correct the problem.Contributes to meeting the fluctuating staffing needs of the department as evidenced by flexibility in own assignments and work schedules.Attends all mandatory education and in-service programs as indicated by attendance records.Displays good attendance and is punctual.Will work weekends and/or holidays as needed.
