　　Planet Technologies is looking for a SharePoint Engineer to manage the day-to-day SharePoint environment for a large Federal client. This includes helping the client transition from an on-premises environment to a cloud environment, monitoring the day-to-day health of the SharePoint environment, working closely with other members of the Infrastructure team to provide a stable environment for our customer.

　　Responsibilities

　　Provide advanced knowledge of SharePoint capabilities (SP 2013, and 2016, SP Online).

　　Design SharePoint architecture, business processes, and sites/subsites/pages to support business needs.

　　Provide for the daily/routine operations and maintenance of SharePoint Servers.

　　Oversee evaluation and implementation of patches and updates.

　　Provide enterprise tools administration including:

　　Managing SharePoint user groups and access rights

　　Creating SharePoint sites and lists

　　Supporting upgrades and other maintenance of the SharePoint infrastructure (primarily Friday evening and Saturday during the day)

　　Providing SharePoint training and coaching

　　Identifying areas where the program can make more effective use of SharePoint

　　Serving as backup Enterprise Tools administrator after receiving training

　　Provide SharePoint custom development/implementation support

　　Assist with moving an on-premises environment to a secure cloud environment

　　Essentials

　　Education: Bachelor's degree

　　Experience: 3-5+ years

　　Citizenship Requirement: US Citizen

　　Clearance Required: Top Secret Clearance is required
