Sewing Operator, Level 1

As a Sewing Operator, Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, specifically in the sewing department. Your primary responsibility will be to operate sewing machines to assemble and sew various textile products according to specifications. You will work with a team of skilled operators and follow established sewing techniques and quality standards to ensure the production of high-quality products.

You will report directly to our Sewing Supervisor and work out of our Dayton, OH location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate and timely sewing of textile products. Your attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will contribute to the overall success of our production processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate sewing machines to sew textile products according to specifications

• Follow established sewing techniques and quality standards

• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality requirements

• Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure optimal performance

• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

YOU MUST HAVE

• Previous experience as a sewing operator or in a similar role

• Basic knowledge of sewing techniques and machine operation

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
