Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer
Location: Sacramento, CA (onsite)
Salary Range: starting from $124,800
What’s the Job?
The ServiceNow Management Manager is a pivotal role responsible for orchestrating the strategic direction, development, and day-to-day operational management of the ServiceNow platform within the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with robust technical knowledge, managerial acumen, and a deep understanding of how ServiceNow can be leveraged to drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The ServiceNow Manager will lead a team of ServiceNow professionals and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the platform aligns with organizational goals and delivers sustained value.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow platform in alignment with organizational objectives.
Evaluate and implement new ServiceNow features and functionalities that drive value and efficiency.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage the ServiceNow team ensuring a high level of performance and project delivery.
Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
Project and Portfolio Management:
Oversee multiple ServiceNow projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Prioritize projects based on organizational needs, resource availability, and strategic relevance.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as a primary point of contact for all ServiceNow related engagements across various departments.
Facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure ServiceNow solutions meet those needs.
Operational Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ServiceNow platform ensuring its reliability, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
Ensure that support and maintenance activities are carried out effectively with minimal disruption to business operations.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
Monitor and analyze the performance of the ServiceNow platform, initiating improvements as necessary.
Ensure the platform remains updated with the latest ServiceNow releases and best practices.
Budget Management:
Manage the budget for ServiceNow projects and operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry best practices, and relevant laws and regulations.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the ServiceNow team and across the organization.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements and risks inherent to job responsibilities, establish, and maintain control activities that mitigate those risks consistent with internal clients’ isk appetite, and ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.
Must have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Minimum of eight years of experience with ServiceNow, including experience in a leadership or managerial role. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Certified Implementation Specialist is strongly preferred.
Profound knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, its capabilities, and best practices.
Strong leadership, project management, and team collaboration skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering meaningful outcomes that drive organizational value
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Certified Implementation Specialist is strongly preferred.
