Job Description: Our clienthas an exciting opportunity in our IT group. We are looking for an IT ServiceNow Business Analyst to be responsible for driving the future state usability of the ServiceNow platform leveraging ITSM, ITOM and CSDM best practices. This role will guide customer in OOB ServiceNow configurability of current releases of ServiceNow. Lead requirements gathering meetings with business users / process owners, and IT application teams. The ServiceNow Business Analyst must possess sound foundational knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and applications, a detailed understanding of the business users represented, and the ability to describe business and user requirements in a manner that enables system administrators, application developers, and quality assurance engineers to understand, estimates relative effort, and deliver business functionality. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with product owner, IT departments and customers to capture business requirements, use cases, user stories and process flows related to ServiceNow Processes Contribute to ITSM Product Roadmap collaborating with process owners. Champion, coach and train users and technicians on ITSM processes and proper execution to ensure appropriate understanding and adoption of the IT Service Management system and key processes. Work with development, administration, support team to ensure requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification. Work with ITSM product owner to maintain groomed backlogs for workable two-week sprints. Perform business analysis on processes targeted for ServiceNow solutions. Analyzing current manual end user processes, defining future automated processes, performing a gap analysis to get from current state to future state, and deliver documentation comprising all the analysis including detailed requirements. Participate in daily stand ups, retrospectives, and drive commitments of Agile sprints. Adhere to and promote defined ITSM processes, procedures, and best practices Provide support to users as needed to ensure proper process and/or service execution Utilize ServiceNow reports and dashboards to track key process metrics and identify improvement opportunities Work with development, administration, and support teams to ensure requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification. Required Basic Qualifications: Worked in Agile Methodology Experience in ServiceNow Written and built requirements from requests Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent years of training, work experience and education) 4+ years of technical Business Analysis or Business System Analysis experience 1+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow ITSM / ITOM suite (i.e., Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, SLA) to include working experience in an IT Service Management process coordinator or similar support role Preferred Qualifications: (desired) Additional ServiceNow Modules (GRC, ITOM, ITAM, ITBM) experience ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation certification ServiceNow Certified (ITSM) Experience with ServiceNow implementation in Incident, Problem, Change and Knowledge Management, with recent skills working in IT Operations Management (CMDB, Event Management, Discovery) Lean IT, Six Sigma, PMP, or similar industry certifications Experience with developing reporting for ITSM process CSFs, KPIs, and operational metrics Experience with data analysis Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $80.00-$95.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
