  Job Summary

  If you are a Service professional looking to expand your career in the Marine industry, then Emerson has an exciting role for you! Based in Singapore, the Service Engineer will manage and support a new Marine Solutions portfolio (Smart Propulsion) within the AP region.

  In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and start-up of Emerson (Smart Propulsion) marine equipment and systems.

  Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during field visits or dispatches.

  Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks on Smart Propulsion systems.

  Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions on Smart Propulsion systems.

  Produce timely and detailed service reports and document processes.

  Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the global organization.

  Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.

  Build positive relationships with customers through excellent service standards.

  Follow Emerson's procedures and protocols.

  Provide training and technical support to customers with regard to proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.

  Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.

  Who You Are:

  You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse partners. You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You quickly and decisively take action in constantly evolving, unexpected situations.

  For This Role, You Will Need:

  Minimum 2 years of proven experience in field service from Marine industry

  Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.

  Knowledge of marine systems, including propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary systems.

  Understanding of control systems and PLCs is highly helpful.

  Familiarity with maritime regulatory requirements

  Proficient in English, written and verbal communication to work with overseas teams and customers

  Excellent customer service attitude with can work under pressure.

  Ability to work independently and in confined and challenging environments.

  Strong work ethic

  Willing to travel to client sites, both domestic and international.

  Comfortable with on-call duties and working in flexible hours depending on project requirements, including potential overtime, weekends, and holidays.

  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  Bachelor's or associate's degree or equivalent in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any related field

  Additional foreign language is a plus
