JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Under the direction of the ServiceManager, the Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaisonbetween the customer and technicians - which involves schedulingrepairs, assigning work to technicians, preparing repair orders, billingrepair orders, entering work orders into the computer system, orderingshop supplies according to procedures and consulting with insurancecompanies. Shift: Monday - Friday - 3:00 p.m. - Midnight Pay: \$56,171 -\$75,000/year (Depending of Experience) Shift Premium: There is a\$5,000.00/yr (\$192.31, bi-weekly) 2nd shift differential, paidbi-weekly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process all shop repairorders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates. Document anddiagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs. Provide effectivecommunication to customers regarding their job orders by preparingestimates for repair work and parts; monitor job schedules to ensuretimeliness of repairs and job pricing. Work closely with customers andinsurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentationrelating to repair work. Complete invoicing and collecting procedures ina timely manner. Maintain inventory of parts, paint, and materialsnecessary for repair functions. All other duties as assigned. Competencies:Priority Setting Customer Service Technical Skills MinimumQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years ofrelated automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experiencepreferred. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Mustpossess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.Valid driver\'s license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.Dependable and reliable attendance required.
