  Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Manager 2 - Project Management. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

  The candidate will be responsible for functional management duties (~20%) within the project management homeroom for the SDS Division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. The selected candidate will be in a leadership position on the System Security Engineering (SSE) team supporting the Sentinel program. As a Project Manager you will be overseeing multiple projects and support daily operations as demanded by the Sentinel Program Statement of Work.

  What You'll Get To Do: Functional manager for a team of project managersExecute completion Statement of Work requirements, Program Milestone Exit Criteria, and program maturity commitmentsPlan and Facilitate Customer engagements across multiple departments of the Air Force, NSA, and DoEManage Program level Risks and OpportunitiesOversee Control Account Management (CAM) activitiesSupport ProposalsManage CDRL/SDRL and Review Board processesAct as the Delegate of Authority for Sr. leadershipAct as assignment/task manager for project managersEnsure all personnel involved in technical content creation have the correct and complete tasking at all times to meet cost, schedule and technical requirementsTrack ongoing technical tasking from creation to completionValidate all technical activities are captured in appropriate database(s) and agreed upon with the customerCommunicate effectively and concisely to Leadership, and clearly present technical approaches and findingsLead teams within security engineering activities responsible for generating requirements, architecture, design, threat and vulnerability analysis, development, evaluation, assessment and authorizationBuild staffing plans for SSE team member role placement.Manage SSE team member task allocationAllocate resources to meet time, cost, and schedule.Communicate with the Functional Homeroom (FHR) to establish standardized SSE processes for opportunity and efficiency improvementsConduct Earned Value Management for all SSE cost accounts in conjunction with Cost Account Management (CAM)Travel: 10-35%As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:

  This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

  You'll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and at least 6 years of related experienceAt least 1 year experience leading a project or cross-functional teams and/or driving performance against schedule1 year experience in budgeting or managing Cost Accounts.1 year experience performing Earned Value Management (EVM).Must have U.S. Citizenship with a current or active Secret level clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Masters Degree and 4 years of related experienceUnderstanding Risk Management (identification and development of risks) and driving risk mitigations to closureExperience conducting threat analysis and protection initiativesExperience in engaging with the intelligence community, utilizing databases, and performing research and analysisActive Top-Secret clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years and ability to obtain SAP accessExperience briefing high level leadership on complex issues.Understanding Risk Management (identification and development of risks) and driving risk mitigations to closure.#GBSDleadershi

  Salary Range: $108,400 - $162,600

  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
