　　GBA, a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm, has a careeropportunity in our Water Environment Group located in Lenexa, Kansas.GBA provides comprehensive services including field data collection,master planning, asset management, design, and construction managementservices. We are looking for a Senior Engineer for our wastewatersystems group. The ideal candidate should have significant designexperience and needs to be able to demonstrate the ability to work in afast paced and highly collaborative environment, while working in thebest interests of our clients.

　　The ideal candidate will have experience in a consulting environmentwith a proven ability to design components in wastewater treatment, pumpstations, and/or collection systems. The role will suit a self-motivatedindividual who is aspiring to take a lead role in preparing studies anddesign documents along with training other staff.

　　Responsibilities

　　Provide project management and report preparation for wastewatersystem design and master planning projectsPerform the design of projects for both rehabilitation and newconstruction, and provide quality control reviewsBe a detailed person with good communication skillsPrepare calculations, design drawings, and specifications forwastewater system projectsReview existing reports and studies for information related tostudies and design projectsPrepare written studies and project design technical reportsCoach and mentor staffAssist in project pursuits and proposal preparationDevelop scope and fee proposals for potential projectsQualifications

　　BS in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering degree8+ years of experience in wastewater treatment, pump stations,and/or collection system design, or similar experienceProfessional Engineering certification in the State of Kansas,Possess effective communication skills both written and oralMust be able to work effectively both on a team and individuallyCandidate must be adept at working on fast-paced projectsTravel: Some overnight travel may be necessary for this position.Some occasional local day travel will be required.
