About Senior Visual Designer, Amazon Health

  Description

Amazon Health is looking for a Senior Visual Designer to help shape results-driven work that inspires, motivates and educates our audience in the healthcare space. You will be a key part of a multifaceted Design team to bring our brand to life and help people find and engage with healthcare offerings to get and stay healthy.

  Key job responsibilities

You will have a strong foundation in the Visual Design process with a specific focus on UI to create compelling branded experiences with a focus on digital deliverables; from landing pages to micro-sites to email templates and display ads. You will have a portfolio that showcases your strength in developing brand-defining innovative work from concept to execution, all while demonstrating an understanding of the science and art of visual storytelling.

You dive deep in the data behind your designs, partnering with Product Managers and Growth to strategically version and optimize designs based on learnings. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves to solve complex creative problems with a pixel perfect obsession for making things better. You manage ambiguity effectively and influence the direction of your projects by identifying and defining new opportunities while supporting and executing brand vision and strategy. You are a creative multitasker who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, proactively handling multiple projects with the ability to motivate, inspire and lead by example.

  Key job responsibilities

  • Work through creative briefs alongside art directors; from concept development to iteration of design mockups (wireframes / visual concepting), prototypes, and final production files to drive conversion through thoughtfully designed experiences.

  • Build and manage marketing landing pages and emails using internal tools and platforms that considers the holistic user journey; working closely with product and engineering on output, delivery, and usability.

  • In addition to owning marketing websites and emails, support other branded materials including but not limited to display ads, social media, illustrations, video + motion assets and animated gifs.

  • Build and manage digital design systems, pattern libraries and guidelines in collaboration with the Product design team that support brand consistency across the entire customer journey.

  • Stay tuned into the competitive marketing, digital design and technology landscape—sharing insights to the team and proposing new ways to elevate our digital experiences.

  • Work closely with in-house copywriters, project managers, UX designers, and developers, as well as external vendors, to make design decisions informed by research, brand positioning and business objectives for B2C and B2B customers.

  About the team

Our org's mission is to improve health outcomes by making it dramatically easier for anyone to find, choose, afford, and engage with the quality products and services they need to get and stay healthy.
