Core Responsibilities
Explore ways to visually communicate a variety of interactive play experiences to LEGO builders across the portfolio
Concept develop a new (non-verbal) building instruction language for interactive LEGO play
Design and detail a library of new building experience iconography and visual assets for printed and digital media
Explore, develop and safeguard consistent building experience art direction
Drive and facilitate cross-functional design collaboration in an agile and collaborative working environment
Engage with and present visual design concepts for key partners.

Do you have what it takes?
You're a skilled and bold concept developer, with a background within visual communications design, graphic design, UI design or equivalent and you bring experience from a large organization, showcasing your creative prowess. Moreover, you are:
Super user of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign as well as expert in bringing visual design from rough mock-ups to final pixel-perfect assets, applying your great hand sketching techniques.
Confident with setting clear and consistent art direction for printed and digital media.
Curious and proactive in investigating best-in-class examples of visual communication in other fields.
Naturally incorporating feasibly into your creative process: designing for scalability and repeatability.
Experienced with instructional design and/or non-verbal communication.
Fluent in English.
In addition, the ideal candidate enjoys the sketching and conceptual phases of a project as much as perfecting the details. Also, it's an advantage being a driver by heart to independently leading work-streams end-to-end and bridging with partner teams. Process optimization and value chain understanding are natural areas of interest.
