　　Job Description:Wendel is currently seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team working out of our Williamsville, NY headquarters. The successful candidate must be technically astute in transportation and/or highway engineering and have a proven background in the development of transportation and/or highway projects. This role will perform as a technical specialist or project engineer on mid to large size projects.

　　Responsibilities:Performs technical discipline tasks including research, report preparation, design, and specification/plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.Assists with business development activities, including meeting with clients.Assists with preparing and coordinating proposal efforts to secure work.

　　Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.8+ years of progressive transportation design experience.EIT is requiredPE is a plus.Experience on NYSDOT, NYSTA, and Local Administered Federal Aid transportation projects.Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus. General knowledge of NYSDOT specifications and standards.Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relationships skills.
