The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Senior Test Program Manager – Vertical Programs to join our team in Seattle, WA. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading efforts for the test and evaluation strategy, architecture, execution, resources, and environment to enable program success across Boeing Verticals programs.
The Senior Test Program Manager (TPM) will ensure successful execution for all test and evaluation activities across the US and India primarily and potentially in Poland and Brazil. This position will provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, while developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports.
Domestic and international travel to company worksites will be required.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Partner with program teammates and BT&E execution teams to meet affordability, safety, and quality goals
Lead the strategy and plan for a comprehensive virtual & physical integration and test architecture
Drive lean and efficient component qualification test capabilities (for all Verticals)
Lead a successful approach for integration and test across all program efforts
Partner with lab test value stream, flight test value stream, flight operations and engineering capability leaders within BT&E in addition to Boeing program managers, US government leaders, suppliers, and customers to execute the test program and meet commitments
Accountable for execution throughout the entire BT&E product test life cycle for all BT&E teams working Boeing Verticals programs
Represent Test & Evaluation (T&E) across all phases of the program beginning with the development of the T&E strategy and test program plan
Act as managing authority for Boeing Verticals T&E program including: Statement of Work (SOW), Earned Value Management (EVM), Change Management, risk issues and opportunities (RIO) and related processes as applicable
Manage test program work statement, commitments, and performance including scope, cost, schedules, implementation of the test and evaluation requirements and their design solutions, safe operations during all phases of the test program and BT&E’s overall performance to plan
Implement and leverage Model Based Engineering (MBE) capability
Utilize analytics to drive overall improvement across the Product Test Life Cycle (PTLC)
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering and / or computer science
5+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams
Ok with this position requiring up to 10% domestic and international travel to company worksites
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience communicating to program leadership
Experience with software development
Experience managing global teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $166,600 – $225,400
