Job Description

　　BAE Systems is seeking a Technical Writer/Editor II to join an intermingled team of engineers, technologists and military veterans. This position will be located in Mount Laurel, NJ where Technology and Teamwork come together! The qualified candidate will provide Technical Editor support to the Senior Leadership Team at Aegis Technical Representative (AEGIS TECHREP) in Moorestown, NJ.

　　Candidate's primary role will involve support of the US Navy and specifically the TECHREP customer in the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documentation including senior level technical reports. In addition, the candidate will support the BAE Systems Program Manager in the preparation and editing of monthly contractual deliverable reports. The successful candidate must demonstrate applicable talent with technical writing expertise and the ability to maintain configuration management and an archive record for all technical documentation.

　　Required Education, Experience, & Skills

　　High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 years of related work experience, Associate's Degree and at least 4 years of related work experience or a Bachelor's Degree with preference given to the English or Technical Writing degrees.

　　Security clearance requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). The selected candidate will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until after the clearance is granted.

　　Also required:

　　Working knowledge / ability with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Office applications.

　　Selected candidate must be possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work independently as required.

　　Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Active DoD security clearance.

　　AEGIS and/or Navy experience

　　Ability to interpret government technical documents and style guides.

　　Technical writing and editing ability.

　　Pay Information

　　Full-Time Salary Range: $62260 - $105820

　　Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
