The Role
The Senior Technical Trainer educates our clients on solutions built in the Fusion Framework®, which leverages the Force.com cloud platform. The goal of this role is to contribute to the development of people’s technical knowledge and skills to increase solution usage and adoption. You must be enthusiastic, high energy, and able to explain complex topics in a clear and interesting way.
Develop training schedules and design agendas
Prepare comprehensive training materials, including but not limited to presentations and workbooks, to facilitate effective learning and knowledge retention
Execute virtual and occasional in-person training sessions, catering to both individuals and groups
Ensure the quality and consistency of training courses
Compile data related to completed classes, attendance, and any issues that arise
Analyze survey data to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement. Use insights gained from the evaluation to make necessary enhancements and adjustments to enhance course quality
Scope custom training requests from clients and partners
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of current training methodologies and tools for adult learners
Strong functional and technical understanding of Cloud Computing concepts and SaaS platforms
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to be a self-starter, working independently and as part of a team
Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, ambiguous, dynamic environment
Ability to translate training requirements into curriculum and delivery methodology
Salesforce.com or Force.com experience preferred
Qualifications (Education and Certifications)
Bachelor’s degree or 4-5 years of equivalent experience
Salesforce.com certifications preferred
Milestones for the First Six Months
In one month, you’ll:
Develop a high level of proficiency in Fusion's Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms
Manage licenses for the LMS and other platforms
Generate and analyze reports as needed
Participate in technical salesforce and fusion framework trainings
In three months, you’ll:
Observe and learn from technical trainers by shadowing their training sessions
Facilitate exams and maintain records of training attendance
Co-facilitating training sessions under the guidance of a mentor
Demonstrate proficiency with salesforce and fusion framework topics
In six months, you’ll:
Independently facilitate more advanced topics
Attend advanced technical training
Collaborate with clients and partners to understand training needs and assist in developing related curriculum
