Our PMs work across multiple disciplines and industries and must be able to understand our clients' business, influence stakeholders, act as a trusted advisor, and build credibility quickly in fast-paced environments. Candidates should be located in the Seattle/Tacoma area for regular onsite client engagements.As a Technical Project Manager, you will serve as PM on GIS software implementation projects for electric, gas and water clients. You will identify process or system improvements, evaluate new tools, and participate in staffing and business development endeavors. You will use your knowledge of project management approaches to guide project delivery for the full lifecycle of geospatial solutions. While this position does not require the candidate to perform delivery of technical work, it does require an understanding of geospatial technologies and related business cases focused on delivery of services, solutions, and products.Here are the skills and experience we are looking for:10+ experience managing projects in a GIS software development environment, including experience with project accounting and project budget management, as well as change and risk management, in a technical project delivery environment.Experience with project management frameworks: Agile and Waterfall. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or PMI certifications a plus.Experience with electric, gas, and water clients preferred.Sound understanding of software development lifecycle including modern technologies and tools, particularly geospatial solutions.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, addressing a wide range of audiences (client, team, technical, non-technical, project stakeholders, peers).Experience working directly with clients on business development as well as project management, requiring credible negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.Experience managing teams, including skills development, coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive input and support.Ability to travel 25% (periodically up to 50%).
