About Senior Technical Program Manager I

Cromulence, LLC is looking for a cleared full-time Senior Technical Program Manager to manage and lead multiple advanced research and development projects within the realm of Cybersecurity. As a technical PM, the role requires an understanding of software and hardware development, system architectures, and the application of reverse engineering and vulnerability research in cybersecurity. The position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining cost and schedule baselines, reporting to both company and customer stakeholders, and overseeing and leading a program team with diverse engineering skills and experience levels. As a senior PM, the role will manage multiple concurrent efforts and possibly oversight of multiple subcontractors. Some projects might be short-duration, fast-paced, risky technology developments--aka quick-react contracts, where innovation and creativity are required to achieve program success. The PM will be expected to support new business pursuits and engage with customers in developing future tasks and opportunities to include writing whitepapers, technical proposals, and Statement of Work (SOW) documents. The PM is responsible for working with company Finance professionals to estimate and price cost proposals and produce required financial deliverables. The PM will also have to work closely with the company and customer Security teams to develop, accredit, and maintain critical IT systems necessary for program execution.

The PM will be expected to effectively communicate with the program team and work side-by-side to achieve successful program deliveries within the budget and schedule constraints. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for building and maintaining the program team with potentially geographically dispersed members.

The PM should establish strong relationships with customers based on trust and respect, employing your influence to drive project direction and achieve mutual success for the client and for Cromulence.

  Required Skills:

A minimum of 4 years overall related experience in engineering and technical management

Demonstrated success leading Federal Government programs in a program manager/engineering lead or similar role

Experience developing, managing, and reporting program schedules, budgets, and program plans

Experience in proposal oversight and development

Proven ability to manage small teams of engineers (potentially geographically separated), preferable experience with managing software engineers

Ability to grasp system concepts, break concepts into tangible components and understand how existing and future components will fit into a customer’s mission space

Experience in customer facing roles (briefings, technical exchanges, program management reviews)

Strong organizational skills, being detail oriented and operating with limited oversight are mandatory

Self-motivated and passionate about supporting the US Cybersecurity mission

  Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline (equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
