What you get to do in this role:
Help build a world-class technical product marketing function by delivering technical marketing content for ServiceNow’s App Engine Workflow solutions
Assist in the development of Now Platform App Engine implementation methodologies to meet partner and customer stakeholder needs
Define and execute technical product marketing deliverables including but not limited to technical marketing collateral, videos, demos, sales enablement trainings, presentations, sales tools, marketing events and campaigns
Work with appropriate teams to create content to help internal, partner, and customer ecosystems understand the business applications of Now Platform App Engine
Develop cool and compelling killer content, including short videos, blogs, webinars and field enablement programs, all aligned to the core value proposition and messaging for ServiceNow’s App Engine Workflow solution offerings
Lead technical product marketing programs and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan such that sales teams, field marketing and partner organizations are properly informed about all technical and thought leadership content
Partner with product management, product line sales, solution consulting, and product marketing to achieve a shared understanding of ServiceNow’s App Engine Workflow markets and desired product direction for ServiceNow
Present technical marketing content to internal and external audiences, including ServiceNow’s Knowledge Conference and industry tradeshows
Engage customers, partners and analysts in online communities and social media, leveraging your technical marketing and thought leadership content
To be successful in this role you have:
12+ years of experience in technical product marketing, sales engineering, product management, solution consulting or solution architecture delivering complex software solutions to market.
Strong background in no/low-code development platforms
Proven technical and marketing skills, including the ability to customize solutions, facilitate product demonstrations and effectively communicate ServiceNow value propositions and key differentiators
Ability to quickly understand new technology through instruction and self-training
Strong people development skills, including coaching and mentoring for technical roles
Executive level presence and experience presenting to executive-level audiences
Fluency in third party integrations using web services, JDBC, and file-based parsers
Functional comprehension of SQL and database concepts
Fluency in JavaScript, HTML and libraries/frameworks such AngularJS and Bootstrap
Experience with Elastic cloud, (Big Data, IoT and other emerging technologies a plus
Hands-on Experience with the ServiceNow Platform
Familiarity with ServiceNow’s Flow Designer and how this is leveraged to build automated workflows
Strong technical experience across solutions and industry vertices.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies such as Camtasia, ScreenFlow or DemoEasel
Very strong written and oral communication skills, excellent storyteller and narrative creator
Exceptional people skills to interact with executives, colleagues, cross-functional teams, partners, and customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Up to 20% travel

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $155,600 - $272,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
