Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Tax Analyst will provide and perform a wide array of US income tax analysis with respect to Cargill's domestic activities. In this role, you will communicate with businesses and tax personnel regarding key issues impacting US federal and state income tax as well as associated tax compliance and reporting obligations.
Key Accountabilities
Check, review and Perform tax analysis for key federal and state tax issues.
Research tax technical issues, document conclusions and refine tax compliance processes.
Proactively participate in process analysis and improvements.
Provide ad-hoc support in case of tax audits, internal and external audits.
Guide and train new and junior team members.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Experience in tax accounting, tax advisory or tax auditing
PREFERRED QUALIFIACTIONS
Familiarity with a wide range of US Federal and State tax regimes and concepts (ASC 740, Foreign Tax Credit, R&D Credit, FDII, BEAT, Consolidated Returns, Income Tax Nexus Principles, Unitary Business principle, etc.)
Familiarity with Corptax tax preparation software and Microsoft suite of applications.
