Our client is a Palo Alto based venture capital firm looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Preparing income tax returns for various individual, partnership and fiduciary returns for the family office

Planning for and preparing quarterly income tax estimates and annual extensions for individual, partnership and fiduciary returns for the family office

Researching tax related issues

Responding to tax notices

Assisting Tax managers with special projects on an as-needed basis

Requirements

Requirements include:

4+ years of tax experience in with high net worth experience (form 1040)

HUGE PLUS: Trust experience or someone with experience in the private wealth group (PCS group) and CPA

Roll up the sleeves attitude with exposure to: complex tax forms 1040 (individual returns), k-1 (partnership, real estate), trust, etc.

Preference for those that have worked with individuals and their families that are investment focused (vs real estate, operating business, etc)

Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness with confidential info

Motivated self-starter, Deadline Orientated, Multi-task, Organized and excellent attention to detail
