Driving cost innovation for Ultrasound product portfolios
Working with external and internal team/s and finalizing the work streams from Ideation sessions.
Participate in development of acquisition modules for the ultrasound imaging systems
Participate in development of acquisition modules for the ultrasound imaging systems
Create Requirements documentation, specify the design and Theory of Operations, schematic block diagrams with data, control, clock and power paths, and develop the PCBA board level test plan
Perform schematic entry, supervision of PCB layout, and component selection
Develop detailed digital designs from concept through implementation
Prepare Software Interface Control Document (ICD)
Participate and Drive in design reviews.
Design test benches and develop simulation tests for the board being developed
Work with software engineers to integrate PCBA into the final system
Defines and reviews supplier technical deliverables (milestone based).
Leads as a critical interface for technical queries and issue resolution between Supplier and Philips internal teams accordingly.
Ensure proper change request mechanism is followed and changes communicated to the cross functional stakeholders, especially procurement team.
Responsible for ensuring highest quality of deliverables & getting things right the first time by doing things the right way.
Support project/ program management on planning the schedule based on technical risks & activities.
Identify project technical risks & flag them upfront, control them and thoroughness in dealing with the details.
Self- driven and flexible to work beyond the call of the job.
Manages technical communication with supplier/partners and stakeholders.
Ensures project technical road blocks are identified upfront and flagged for any help (on need basis).
Attends periodic reviews & meetings with supplier, cross functional stakeholder and take corrective action course needed, if any.
You are part of 'Value Compact' NPI in the HW team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
Hardware design experience with 15+ years
Hands own experience in circuit, schematic and PCB design
Hands own experience in Front End design including the amplifier and ADCs
Knowledge in the Medical devices design and developments
Technical competency requirements
Strong understanding of engineering design principles
Understanding of the HW development processes
Strong Analog Design fundamentals
Hands on experience with test and measurement equipment
Experience with development in volume production and maintenance of released products
Shall have good knowledge of EMI/EMC design practices
Knowledge of simulators such as LTSpice or Pspice for AC, Parametric & other circuit analysis
Knowledge in Schematic entry tools such as DxDesigner would be preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
