　　We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Facilities Business Unit in Wilkes-Barre, PA . This person will be responsible for research, design calculations and coordination of project specifications with support from a staff of technical personnel including other engineers.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Performs design, analysis, planning and modeling as required

　　Performs research as required, providing results of research to support the team as needed

　　Prepares design computations and quantity estimates to develop design plan documents

　　Instructs draftspersons / technicians to reduce designs to working drawings

　　Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents. Performs some CADD/REVIT drafting

　　Provides reports of research and design as required

　　Reviews results maintaining close contact with project manager and senior engineers, keeping them informed with issues or concerns or changes required in schedule or process

　　Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects

　　Attends client meetings

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university

　　5 or more years' experience in commercial/ industrial building structural design

　　Familiarity with design requirements for Building and Structural Design Codes

　　Working knowledge of STAAD and RAM structural software

　　Experience with Revit a plus

　　PE certification required

　　Must be able to pass a background check to be considered
