　　The Opportunity

　　As a Senior Strategy Associate, you will be responsible for providing strategic support for the Enterprise Strategy Team. Work collaboratively with Strategy Engagement Directors and team to support internal consulting projects in the areas of strategy development, growth strategy, organizational design and operating model and business transformation.

　　We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in the following location: San Antonio TX . Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

　　What you'll do:

　　Support internal consulting projects & initiatives: Knowledge of strategic opportunities and issues faced by the organization. Conduct targeted research and collect data from various internal and external sources. Perform high-impact analysis, recommends changes that will aid in evaluating and designing business solutions. Provides support in the creation of compelling storylines that clearly articulate findings, insights, and recommendations.

　　Monitor and assess external trends: Applies developing knowledge to conduct industry and competitive research to identify potential strategic opportunities and threats. Support communicating insights and development of recommendations to leadership.

　　Support strategic planning: Aids in the development and communication of the organization’s three-year strategic plan.

　　Assist with strategy communication and alignment: Support the communication of the organization’s strategy to key stakeholders. Work collaboratively with Strategy Engagement Directors to support the design, development, and facilitation of strategy off-sites.

　　Monitor and report on progress: May assist with monitoring the progress of the organization’s strategic initiatives and reporting on results to senior management and other stakeholders.

　　Risk management: Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

　　What you have:

　　Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Engineering or Science discipline; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

　　2 years of business experience demonstrating proficiency in strategy consulting, corporate or business unit strategy or relevant work experience.

　　Experience with project management.

　　Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

　　Strong research, data analysis and written and oral communication skills.

　　What sets you apart:

　　MBA or other advanced degree.

　　Financial Services Industry experience preferably in banking or insurance.

　　US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.

　　Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $67,220 - $128,480 .

　　Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
